Pool Party & A Flash Mob

This past Sunday, my parents hosted the annual pool party for Central Jersey Geocachers. It was well attended with lots of great food, great company and an ongoing water gun fight, fair game for anyone in a bathing suit…

My family, and Alex included, have been actively meeting with the local Geocacher community for several years now. We have attended and hosted events, and met with friends to complete difficult Geocaches or series. One type of Geocaching event is called a flash mob. It’s a 15minute themed-event where Cachers are expected to come in costume, congregate for 15minutes, and disperse. The idea is to generate talk and spread the word about Geocaching.

Because we are active, and dare I say, loved, members of the local Geocacher community, some of our friends have decided to host a flash mob in celebration of Alex and my marriage! The Central Jersey Geocachers TIE the Knot Flash Mob will take place at exactly 3:15pm in front of the hotel, Hyatt Place of Princeton. A schedule of events can be found on the Cache page and also on the Central Jersey Geocaching site (link). The theme is ties, so come wearing a tie.

Our guests are encouraged to attend or spectate. The end to the flash mob will be marked when our Groom and his Groomsmen leave for the venue. Immediately following, the shuttle will take the first wave of guests over to the venue.
